Our Promise to the Kids/ Nuestra Promesa al los Ninos
We are MYR. We are a group of volunteers from our community who have organized to
promote and sponsor sports, recreation, and community events. We have made a
promise to the children of Mendota that, as long as our organization exists, we will find
methods of recreation that will promote physical activity, enhance self esteem, and
create awareness to the detriments of alcohol and drug abuse.

Somos MYR. o Recreo Mendota. Somos un grupo de voluntarios de la que nos hamos
organizado para patrocinar deportes, recreacion, y eventos para la communidad.
Hamos hecho una promesa a los ninos de Mendota, de que en el tiempo que
existemos entre la communidad, vamos ayar dinero y metos de traer recreacion y
deportes para nuestros ninos. Vamos ayar metos para organisamos como una
comunidad contra el abuso de drogas y alcol.

MYR sponsors more than just basketball games, it sponsors fun in
the following ways:

All our programs are run by volunteers so services are pending
available help. All donations go mainly to sponsor sports programs
and services rendered by MYR. For more information, please call
MYR at 655-4590.

- Annual Big Rig Summer Slammin Diesel Showcase
- Annual Golf Tournament benefitting MYR and Mendota Boxing

- Mendota Youth Sewing Program
